The 18-hole course at Ghala is set snugly into a valley, surrounded by the iconic Al-Hajar mountains which provide a stunning backdrop for your round. The narrow fairways leading into the mountains provide a challenge for all levels of player.
The first 18 hole golf course to be built in Oman, the course is uniquely designed with spectacular sea and mountain views, and is landscaped in and around the natural Wadi terrain offering generous fairways and challenging shots over the wadi escarpments.

Day 1: Arrive and transfer to your hotel, the Chedi Muscat. Overnight Muscat
Day 2: Round of golf at Al Mouj Golf. Overnight Muscat
Day 3: A private half day tour of Muscat, a unique blend of the ancient & the modern. You will visit the exotic Old Town and the enchanting Muttrah Souq with its maze of narrow covered alleys, as well as the magnificent Al Aalam Palace. Overnight Muscat
Day 4: Round of golf at Ghala Golf Club. Overnight Muscat
Day 5: Leave the coast and our golf clubs behind and take a fascinating journey into Oman’s spectacular interior. After a stop at the stunning Bahla Fort, arrive at your beautiful hotel high in the mountains at Jebel al Akhdar. Overnight Jebel al Akhdar
Day 6: A free day to relax. Overnight Jebel al Akhdar
Day 7: Continue your journey through this fascinating country,visiting the ancient capital of Oman, Nizra, before arriving at the spectacular Wahiba Sand Dunes Luxury Desert Camp. Overnight Desert Camp
Day 8: Nothing beats sunrise in the desert – so make sure you up early to witness it. After breakfast, you leave the camp and transfer back to Muscat with a stop at the ancient port of Sur where traditional dhows are still built, as well as the picturesque Wadi Tiwi, and the amazing rock formations at the Bimah Sinkhole. Best Time to Travel to Oman for this Tour: Oman is a year round destination with pleasant warm climate, however we would recommend avoiding June through to August as temperatures peak at this time of the year.
